Atvinnuleysistryggingalögin veita fjárhagslega aðstoð til fólks sem missir vinnuna og uppfyllir ákveðin skilyrði. Lögin ná til allra launþega á Íslandi sem hafa greitt í atvinnuleysistryggingasjóð.
The unemployment insurance law provides financial assistance to people who lose their jobs and meet certain eligibility requirements. The law covers all employees in Iceland who have contributed to the unemployment insurance fund.
