Þessi lög heimila Íslandi að undirrita og fullgilda samning Sameinuðu þjóðanna um bann við kjarnorkuvopnum. Lögin skuldbinda Ísland til að styðja alþjóðlegt bann við þróun, framleiðslu og notkun kjarnorkuvopna.
This law authorizes Iceland to sign and ratify the United Nations Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. The law commits Iceland to supporting an international ban on the development, production, and use of nuclear weapons.
