Þessi lög kveða á um stofnun þingmannanefndar sem fjallar um loftslagsmál og umhverfisstefnu. Nefndin hefur eftirlit með og tekur ákvarðanir varðandi loftslagsaðgerðir og umhverfisvernd á vegum Alþingis.
This law establishes a parliamentary committee that deals with climate matters and environmental policy. The committee oversees and makes decisions regarding climate actions and environmental protection on behalf of the Icelandic Parliament.
