Þessi lög fjalla um umsókn Íslands um aðild að Geimvísindastofnun Evrópu (ESA). Lögin heimila íslenskum stjórnvöldum að sækja um fullgildingu í stofnuninni og hafa áhrif á vísindasamfélagið og geimrannsóknir á Íslandi.
