Þessi lög fjalla um stjórnun og úthlutun útvarpsgjalds sem íslenskir ríkisborgarar greiða. Lögin ákveða hvernig gjaldinu er skipt á milli RÚV og annarra útvarpsstöðva og hverjir eiga rétt á hluta af gjaldinu.
This law governs the administration and distribution of broadcasting fees paid by Icelandic citizens. The law determines how the fee is allocated between RÚV (the national broadcaster) and other broadcasting stations, and establishes who is entitled to receive portions of the fee.
