Lög um mannanöfn setja reglur um hvaða nöfn má gefa börnum á Íslandi og stjórna því hvað telst leyfilegt íslenskt nafn. Lögin hafa áhrif á alla foreldra sem vilja skrá nöfn barna sinna og Þjóðskrá Íslands sem samþykkir eða hafnar nafnaskráningum.
The Personal Names Act establishes rules about what names can be given to children in Iceland and governs what constitutes an acceptable Icelandic name.
