Þessi lög veita lagalega heimild til að nota þvingaða lyfjagjöf við brottvísanir einstaklinga frá Íslandi. Lögin hafa áhrif á þá sem eru brottvísaðir og starfsmenn sem framkvæma brottvísanirnar.
