Lög um félagslega aðstoð fjalla um félagslegan stuðning og fjárhagsaðstoð til einstaklinga og fjölskyldna sem þurfa á hjálp að halda. Lögin ná til allra sem búa á Íslandi og uppfylla ákveðin skilyrði um tekjur og aðstæður.
The social assistance law provides social support and financial aid to individuals and families who need help. The law applies to all residents of Iceland who meet certain income and circumstance requirements.
