Þessi lög kveða á um réttindi og skyldur starfsmanna í þjónustu íslenska ríkisins. Lögin ná til allra ríkisstarfsmanna og setja fram reglur um launakjör, vinnuskilyrði og skyldur gagnvart ríkinu.
This law establishes the rights and obligations of employees in the service of the Icelandic state. The law applies to all government employees and sets forth rules regarding wages, working conditions, and duties toward the state.
