Þessi lög gera breytingar á ýmsum öðrum lögum til að bæta stöðu barna og vernda réttindi þeirra betur. Lögin hafa áhrif á öll börn á Íslandi og þá aðila sem vinna með börnum eða bera ábyrgð á velferð þeirra.
This law makes amendments to various other laws to improve the situation of children and better protect their rights. The law affects all children in Iceland and those who work with children or bear responsibility for their welfare.
