Þessi lög kveða á um þjóðlega átaksverkefni til að græða upp eyðiland og auka skógrækt á Íslandi. Lögin snúa að landgræðslu og skógræktaraðgerðum sem miða að því að bæta umhverfi landsins og koma í veg fyrir jarðvegsrof.
