Innheimtulög kveða á um reglur um innheimtu skulda og réttindi og skyldur innheimtuaðila og skuldara. Lögin gilda um alla sem starfa við innheimtu skulda á Íslandi og þá sem skulda peninga.
The Collection Act establishes rules for debt collection and the rights and obligations of collection agencies and debtors. The law applies to all those who work in debt collection in Iceland and those who owe money.
