Þessi lög fjalla um skipulag og veitingu fyrsta og annars stigs heilbrigðisþjónustu á Íslandi. Lögin hafa áhrif á alla íbúa landsins sem þurfa á heilbrigðisþjónustu að halda, svo sem hjá heimilislæknum og á heilsugæslustöðvum.
This law governs the organization and provision of primary and secondary healthcare services in Iceland. It affects all residents of Iceland who need healthcare services, such as from general practitioners and at primary health centers.
