Íslandsdeild Vestnorræna ráðsins leggur til að Alþingi álykti að skora á ríkisstjórnina að framkvæma tvær ályktanir frá ársfundi Vestnorræna ráðsins 19.-20. ágúst 2025 í Ilulissat á Grænlandi. Fyrri ályktuninni (nr. 1/2025) snýr að öryggis- og varnargrundvelli á Norður-Atlantshafi og seinni ályktuninni (nr. 2/2025) að öryggi mikilvægra innviða, sérstaklega sæstrenga og gervihnattatenginga.
The Icelandic division of the West Nordic Council proposes that the Althingi resolves to urge the government to implement two resolutions from the West Nordic Council's annual meeting August 19-20, 2025 in Ilulissat, Greenland. The first resolution (nr. 1/2025) concerns security and defense foundations in the North Atlantic and the second (nr. 2/2025) concerns security of critical infrastructure, especially submarine cables and satellite connections.
