Þessi lög hækka ýmis gjöld og skatta sem tengjast fjárlagagerð ársins 2020. Gjöld af áfengi og tóbaki hækka, sömuleiðis vörugjöld af ökutækjum, eldsneyti, olíugjaldi og kílómetragjaldi fyrir þyngri ökutæki. Bifreiðagjöld hækka einnig fyrir alla eigendur ökutækja. Lögin lækka hins vegar hlutfall eftirlitsgjalda sem fjármálafyrirtæki greiða til að standa straum af kostnaði við opinbert eftirlit.
This law increases various fees and taxes in connection with the 2020 budget. Excise duties on alcohol and tobacco are raised, as are fees on vehicles, fuel, oil tax, and kilometre charges for heavier vehicles. Vehicle registration fees also increase for all vehicle owners. The law does, however, reduce the percentage of supervisory fees that financial institutions pay to cover the cost of official oversight.
