Lögin hækka sérstaka framfærsluuppbót sem greiðist lífeyrisþegum vegna framfærslu barna. Uppbótin fyrir fyrsta barn hækkar úr 310.800 kr. í 333.258 kr. og fyrir hvert barn þar á eftir úr 247.183 kr. í 265.044 kr. Auk þess fá örorku- og endurhæfingarlífeyrisþegar eingreiðslu upp á 50.000 kr. vegna ársins 2020, sem ekki telst til tekna og leiðir ekki til skerðingar annarra bóta.
This law increases a special child support supplement paid to pensioners who support children. The supplement for the first child increases from 310,800 ISK to 333,258 ISK, and for each additional child from 247,183 ISK to 265,044 ISK. Additionally, disability and rehabilitation pensioners receive a one-time payment of 50,000 ISK for the year 2020, which does not count as income and does not reduce other benefits.
