Fjárlögin fyrir árið 2022 setja fram fjárhagsáætlun ríkisins fyrir árið 2022. Lögin tilgreina heildartekjur og útgjöld ríkissjóðs og skiptingu fjárveitinga milli ráðuneyta og stofnana. Þau hafa áhrif á alla þjónustu hins opinbera, launagreiðslur starfsmanna ríkisins og öll verkefni sem ríkið fjármagnar á árinu. Lögin voru samþykkt á Alþingi 28. desember 2021 og tóku gildi við áramót.
The 2022 Budget Act establishes the state budget for the year 2022. The law specifies the total revenues and expenditures of the treasury and the allocation of funds between ministries and institutions. It affects all public services, salary payments for government employees, and all projects funded by the state during the year. The law was passed by Althingi on December 28, 2021, and took effect at the turn of the year.
