Þessi lög sameina Fjölmenningarsetur og Vinnumálastofnun í eina stofnun. Vinnumálastofnun tekur við öllum verkefnum, starfsfólki, eignum og skuldbindingum Fjölmenningarseturs frá 1. apríl 2023. Starfsfólk Fjölmenningarseturs heldur sömu ráðningarkjörum en embætti forstöðumanns setursins fellur niður. Lögin kveða einnig á um að Vinnumálastofnun skuli reka þjónustustöðvar á öllum helstu landshlutum, þ.e. að minnsta kosti átta svæðum um landið.
This law merges the Multicultural and Information Centre (Fjölmenningarsetur) into the Directorate of Labour (Vinnumálastofnun). The Directorate of Labour assumes all responsibilities, staff, assets, and obligations of the Multicultural Centre as of April 1, 2023. Staff from the Multicultural Centre retain their employment terms, but the position of director of the Centre is abolished. The law also stipulates that the Directorate of Labour must operate service centers across the country, with at least one in each of eight regional areas.
