Fjárlög ársins 2024 setja ramma um tekjur og gjöld ríkissjóðs fyrir almanaksárið 2024. Lögin heimila ríkisstjórninni að afla tekna og ráðstafa fjármunum til reksturs opinberra stofnana, félagslegra velferðarkerfa, innviðaframkvæmda og annarra opinberra verkefna á árinu. Fjárlagafrumvarpið var flutt af fjármála- og efnahagsráðherra og samþykkt á Alþingi 16. desember 2023. Lögin hafa áhrif á alla opinbera starfsemi og þá þjónustu sem ríkið veitir íslenskum ríkisborgurum og öðrum á árinu 2024.
The 2024 Budget Act establishes the framework for state revenues and expenditures for the calendar year 2024. The law authorizes the government to collect revenues and allocate funds for the operation of public institutions, social welfare systems, infrastructure projects, and other public services during the year. The budget bill was presented by the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs and approved by the Icelandic Parliament (Alþingi) on December 16, 2023. The law affects all public operations and the services that the state provides to Icelandic citizens and others in 2024.
