This law amends the procedure for the state's sale of its remaining stake in Íslandsbanki. The offering is divided into three books with different minimum bids: 100,000 ISK for the general public (book A), 2 million ISK for others (book B), and 300 million ISK for large institutional investors with assets exceeding 70 billion ISK (book C). In book C, large investors can bid based on pre-market soundings, and allocation is based on criteria including investor quality and long-term alignment with the bank's interests. The National Audit Office oversees the process.
