This law abolishes the right of accident-insured individuals to receive payment for medical care costs from social security accident insurance. Previously, accident insurance covered the full cost of medical care, medication, physiotherapy and other treatment costs for compensable accidents. After the law takes effect, injured individuals must pay the normal co-payments like other health-insured persons, though those injured before the law's implementation retain their previous rights.
