This law provides for a one-time payment in December to people who received disability pension, partial disability pension, old-age pension, sickness and rehabilitation payments, or rehabilitation pension in 2025. The full payment is ISK 73,390 and is reduced based on income above a ISK 1,200,000 exemption threshold. The payment is tax-free, does not reduce other benefits, and must be paid no later than December 23, 2025.
