Þessi lög gera undantekningu frá venjulegum fasteignamatsreglum fyrir sveitarfélagið Grindavíkurbæ. Matsverð fasteigna í Grindavík fyrir árið 2027 verður það sama og það var árið 2024, þ.e. gangvirði eigna í febrúar 2023.
