Wilhelm Wessman, fæddur 2. október 1942, er íslenskur kaupsýslumaður sem hefur starfað að viðskiptum um árabil. Hann er faðir Wilhelms Róberts Wessman, eins þekktasta frumkvöðuls Íslands á sviði lyfjaiðnaðar og líftækni, sem stofnaði og leiddi fjölmörg alþjóðleg lyfjafyrirtæki þar á meðal Actavis, Alvogen og Alvotech. Wilhelm tilheyrir kynslóð íslenskra viðskiptamanna sem lagði grunninn að þróun atvinnulífs landsins á síðari hluta tuttugustu aldar. Þótt takmarkaðar upplýsingar séu aðgengilegar um starfsferil hans og menntun, er ljóst að hann hafði áhrif á þróun íslensks viðskiptalífs og stuðlaði að uppeldi og starfsþróun sonar síns sem varð einn áhrifamesti frumkvöðull Íslands á alþjóðavettvangi.
Wilhelm Wessman, born October 2, 1942, is an Icelandic businessman who has been active in commerce for many years. He is the father of Wilhelm Róbert Wessman, one of Iceland's most prominent entrepreneurs in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, who founded and led several international pharmaceutical companies including Actavis, Alvogen, and Alvotech. Wilhelm belongs to a generation of Icelandic business people who laid the foundation for the development of the country's business sector in the latter half of the twentieth century.
