Albertína Friðbjörg Elíasdóttir spyr ferðamála-, iðnaðar- og nýsköpunarráðherra um hvernig peningum til nýsköpunar hefur verið dreift á síðustu 10 árum og hvort höfuðborgarsvæðið hefur fengið óhóflega stóran hluta. Hún vill vita hvernig fjárveitingar hafa breyst yfir tíma og hvernig þær skiptast milli landshluta, og einnig spyr hún um fjölda starfa sem búið hefur til við nýsköpunarstoðir utan Reykjavíkur. Þetta skiptir máli vegna þess að það gæti bent á hvort nýsköpun og framtaksemi sé dreifð þvert á landið eða hvort hún einbeitist of mikið við höfuðborgarsvæðið. Svörin myndu sýna hvort allt landið fái sanngjarna hluti af stuðningi stjórnvalda við nýsköpun og hvort sveitarfélög utan höfuðborgarsvæðisins hafi jafn góð tök á að þróa efnahag sinn.
