Andrés Ingi Jónsson spyr utanríkisráðherra um birtingu alþjóðasamninga sem Ísland hefur samþykkt. Hann vill vita hversu margir samningar bíða þess að vera þýddir á íslensku og birtir opinberlega, og hversu langan tíma það tekur að meðaltali frá því samningur er fullgiltur þar til hann birtist. Þetta skiptir máli vegna þess að almenningur á að geta lesið og skilið samninga sem standa fyrir Íslandi. Svörin munu segja okkur hvort það er þjóðlegt vandamál með hvernig Ísland miðlar alþjóðasamningum til almennings og hvort það séu tafir í ferlinu.
Andrés Ingi Jónsson asks the Minister of Foreign Affairs about the publication of international agreements that Iceland has ratified. He wants to know how many agreements are waiting to be translated into Icelandic and officially published, and how long it takes on average from ratification until publication. This matters because the public should be able to read and understand agreements that commit Iceland internationally. The answers will reveal whether Iceland has a systematic problem with how it communicates international agreements to the public and whether there are unnecessary delays in the process.
