Þingmaðurinn spyr einnig um hvað mætti gera til að bjararga þessa staði fyrir fram og hvort það sé öruggt að mörg gömul koparsímalínur hafa verið tekin úr notkun. Svörin myndu segja okkur hversu tilbúin okkar fjarskiptamannvirki eru fyrir veðurfarslykum og hvort stjórnvöld séu að grípa til aðgerða til að vernda landsmenn betur.
