Þessi þingsályktunartillaga breytir fjármálastefnu ríkisins fyrir árin 2018–2022 vegna þess að heimsfarið hefur slasað hagkerfið með óvæntum hætti. Stjórnvöld leggja fram þessa breytingu til að geta eytt meiri peningum til að aðstoða hagkerfið á meðan á kreppunni stendur, en með ákveðnum markmiðum um hve miklar skuldir og hallir eru ásættanlegir.
