Þetta frumvarp fjallar um vernd, velferð og veiðar á villtum fuglum og spendýrum á íslensku yfirráðasvæði. Lögin myndu hafa áhrif á alla sem stunda veiðar eða aðra nýtingu á villtum dýrum og setja fram reglur um sjálfbæra nýtingu og vernd þessara tegunda.
