Þessi tillaga krefst þess að sjávarútvegs- og landbúnaðarráðherra leggi fram skýrslu um eignarhald 20 stærstu útgerðarfélaga landsins í öðrum íslenskum fyrirtækjum sem ekki stunda fiskveiðar. Skýrslan á að greina fjárfestingar útgerðanna í síðustu 10 árum og sýna hvernig þau hafa náð fótfestu í öðrum greinum atvinnulífsins.
This bill requests that the Minister of Fisheries and Food provide a report on the ownership holdings of Iceland's 20 largest fishing companies in other Icelandic businesses that are not engaged in fishing operations. The report should analyze the fishing companies' investments over the past 10 years and show how they have gained footholds in other sectors of the economy.
