Tillagan felur í sér að skipa starfshóp til að gera tillögur um aukin atvinnuréttindi fyrir ríkisborgara ríkja utan EES, EFTA og Færeyja. Markmiðið er að auka möguleika útlendinga til að fá atvinnu- og dvalarleyfi á Íslandi og bjóða upp á fleiri leiðir til að setjast hér að.
The bill proposes establishing a working group to make recommendations on expanding employment rights for citizens of countries outside the EEA, EFTA and the Faroe Islands. The goal is to increase foreigners' opportunities to obtain work and residence permits in Iceland and offer more pathways for settlement.
