Ingu Sæland spyr mennta- og menningarmálaráðherra hvaða stjórnmálamenn hafa komið fram í útvarps- og sjónvarpsþáttum Ríkisútvarpsins frá árinu 2018. Hún vill vita hvaða flokka þeir tilheyra, í hvaða þáttum þeir komu fram, hversu oft og hversu lengi. Þetta skiptir máli vegna þess að það getur gefið mynd af því hvort Ríkisútvarpið gefur jöfn tækifæri til útvarps til stjórnmálaflokkanna eða hvort sumir flokkar fá meira pláss en aðrir. Svörin myndu sýna okkur hvort það sé jafnræði í aðgengi stjórnmálaflokkanna að opinberu útvarpinu.
Ingu Sæland asks the Minister of Education and Culture which politicians have appeared as guests on radio and television programs of the National Broadcasting Service (Ríkisútvarpið) since 2018. She wants to know which political parties they belong to, which programs they appeared in, how often, and for how long. This matters because it could reveal whether the National Broadcasting Service gives equal opportunities to all political parties or if some parties receive more airtime than others. The answers would show us whether there is equal access to public broadcasting for the different political parties.
