Þeir vilja vita hvernig lífeyrissjóðir ættu að fjárfesta peningana sína, til dæmis hversu mikið ætti að vera erlendis og hversu mikið á innlendum markaði, sérstaklega eftir að Seðlabanki Íslands þrýsti á þá að kaupa ríkisskuldabréf vegna kórónuveirukreppunnar.
During question time, several parliamentarians request a report from the Minister of Finance and Economics about the status of pension funds in the economy. They want to know how pension funds should invest their money, such as how much should be invested abroad and how much on the domestic market, especially after the Central Bank of Iceland pressured them to buy government bonds due to the coronavirus crisis.
