Þessi þingsályktunartillaga fjallar um fjármálaáætlun Íslands fyrir árin 2022 til 2026. Hún var lögð fram af fjármála- og efnahagsráðherra til þess að setja fram langtímaáætlun um hvernig ríkið muni nota peningana sína á komandi árum. Tillagan sýnir hvar peningarnir fara, hvort það er til kennslu, heilbrigðismála, innviða eða annarra mikilvægra þátta samfélagsins. Ef tillagan nær fram að ganga myndu stjórnvöld og þingið hafa sameiginlega stefnu um fjármagn og eyðslu næstu fimm ára, sem hjálpar til við að skipuleggja og stjórna peningum þjóðarinnar betur.
