Helgi Hrafni Gunnarsson spyr mennta- og menningarmálaráðherra hvort framkvæmd hafi verið gerð á því hvernig það myndi flytjast ef eldri námslántakar gætu breytt lánum sínum yfir í nýja og betri kjöra samkvæmt nýjum lögum um Menntasjóð námsmanna. Hann vill vita hvort þessi greining sé þegar lokið og hvað hún sýndi, eða hvort ætlanir séu til að gera hana fyrir næstu endurskoðun laganna. Svar við þessari spurningu myndi segja okkur hvort stjórnvöld hafi rannsakað hvort eldri lántakar gætu fengið betri kjöra og hvort það væri hugsað til að bæta stöðu þeirra.
Helgi Hrafni Gunnarsson asks the Minister of Education whether an analysis has been conducted on how borrowers with older student loans could convert them to the new Student Loan Fund system with better terms. He wants to know if this analysis is already complete and what it found, or whether it will be done during the next review of the laws. An answer to this question would tell us whether the government has investigated whether older borrowers could get better loan conditions and if they plan to improve their situation.
