Í fyrirspurnarstíma var óskað eftir því að ríkisendurskoðandi gerði úttekt á Úrvinnslusjóði til að kanna hvernig sjóðurinn hefur ráðstafað peningum síðustu fimm ár og hvort allar greiðslur hafi verið lagalegar og rétar. Einnig var bent á að mikið af plasti frá Íslandi sé sent til útlanda til endurvinnslu í stað þess að endurvinnsla fari fram hér heima, sem er ekki æskilegt fyrir umhverfið.
During question time, lawmakers requested that the state auditor investigate the Processing Fund to examine how the fund has allocated money over the past five years and whether all payments were legal and appropriate. They also highlighted that much plastic waste from Iceland is sent abroad for recycling instead of being processed domestically, which is undesirable for the environment.
