Helga Völu Helgadóttur spyr dómsmálaráðherra hversu mörg ofbeldismál lögreglan hefur meðhöndlað frá árinu 2020. Hún vill fá ítarlegar upplýsingar um hvers konar ofbeldisbrot eru tilkynnt, hversu mörg eru í nánum samböndum (eins og heimilisofbeldi), og hversu mörg brot beinist að börnum. Hún óskar einnig eftir því að vita um kyn og kynhneigð þeirra sem fremja og þola ofbeldið, og hvernig málum dreifast eftir mánuðum. Svörin myndu gefa okkur yfirlit yfir stærð ofbeldismálanna á Íslandi og hjálpa til við að skilja hvernig ofbeldið dreifist og hver eru helstu vandamálin.
Helga Völu Helgadóttur asks the Minister of Justice how many violent crime cases have been handled by police since the beginning of 2020.
