Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson spyr utanríkisráðherra tvo hluti um tengsl Íslands við Evrópusambandið. Í fyrri spurningu vill hann vita hvort ESB hafi á einhvern hátt dregið til baka viðurkenningu á því að íslenska umsóknin um aðild að sambandinu hafi verið slitið, og ef svo er, hvernig íslensk stjórnvöld hafi brugðist við. Í seinni spurningu spyr hann við hvaða aðstæður Ísland gæti notað 102. grein EES-samningsins. Svörin myndu ljósa á stöðu Íslands gagnvart ESB og hvort stefnan okkar um sambandið sé óbreytt.
Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson asks the Minister of Foreign Affairs two questions about Iceland's relationship with the European Union. In the first question, he wants to know whether the EU has in any way withdrawn its recognition that Iceland's application for EU membership was terminated, and if so, how Icelandic authorities responded. In the second question, he asks under what circumstances Iceland could use Article 102 of the EEA Agreement. The answers would reveal Iceland's standing with the EU and whether Iceland's EU policy has remained unchanged.
