Birni Leví Gunnarssson spyr félagsmála- og vinnumarkaðsráðherra um það hvernig lög nr. 116/2016 um ellilífeyri hafa áhrif á tekjur eldri borgara. Hann vill vita hverjar meðaltekjur eftirlaunaþega hafa verið á hverju ári síðan lögin tóku gildi, og hvað myndi vera öðruvísi ef lífeyrisgreiðslur teldust sem atvinnútekjur og væru þess vegna háðar tekjumörkum. Þingmaðurinn vill einnig vita hverjir hafa heimild til að skilgreina þær greiðslur á þennan hátt og hvort það sé vegna fyrirmæla frá ráðuneytinu.
