Hafdís Hrönn Hafsteinsdóttur spyr sjávarútvegs- og landbúnaðarráðherra um kolefnisjöfnun Landgræðslunnar, þ.e.a.s. hvernig stofnunin bindur kolefni frá andrúmslofti með plöntun og landgræðslu. Hún vill vita hversu miklar tekjur Landgræðslan fær fyrir að selja þessa kolefnisbindingu til Olís og annarra fyrirtækja, og hvort allt verkefnið sé löggilt og eftirlitið. Spurningarnar snerta einnig hvar þetta er gert á Íslandi, hvort það sé á ríkislandi og hverjir greiði fyrir kostnaðinn. Svörin myndu sýna hvort ríkisstofnun er með ábatasama viðskipti sem og hvort það sé gagnsætt og þvert yfir.
Hafdís Hrönn Hafsteinsdóttur asks the Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture about the Soil Conservation Service's carbon sequestration program—how the agency captures carbon from the atmosphere through planting and land restoration. She wants to know how much revenue the Soil Conservation Service receives from selling this carbon sequestration to Olís and other companies, and whether the program is properly certified and monitored. The questions also address where this work occurs in Iceland, whether it uses state-owned land, and who pays the costs. The answers would reveal whether a government agency has a profitable business arrangement and whether the program is transparent and properly overseen.
