Berglinda Ósk Guðmundsdóttur spyr mennta- og barnamálaráðherra um aukinn fjölda tilkynntra brota gegn börnum á árunum 2020–2021, sem jókst um 17% samkvæmt skýrslu Barnaverndarstofu. Hún vill vita hvort ráðherra hafi gripið til aðgerða til að bæta aðstæður barna meðan á heimsfaraldri stóð og hvort þær aðgerðir skiluðu árangri. Spurnirnar snerta einnig þarf á að bæta þjálfun kennara, setja upp viðbragðsáætlanir í skólum, og hversu langan tíma það tekur að meðaltali að afgreiða tilkynningar um grun um brot. Svörin myndu sýna hvort stjórnvöld hafi verið nægilega fyrir málum barna á erfiðum tímum og hvaða stærðar vandamálið sé fyrir barnaverndarnefndir.
