Ásthildi Lóa Þórsdóttir spyr umhverfis-, orku- og loftslagsráðherra fjóra spurningar um raforkuframleiðslu og notkun á Íslandi á árunum 2017–2021. Hún vill vita hversu mikið jarðefnaeldsneyti var notað, hversu mikil clean energy var framleidd með vatnsorkum og jarðvarma, hversu mikil eftirspurn var eftir raforku og hvernig hún dreifðist á heimili, fyrirtæki og stóriðju, og hversu mikla orku almennir veitur keyptu frá öðrum. Þessar spurningar skipta máli vegna þess að þær sýna okkur hvernig Ísland framleiðir og notar orku og hvort við erum að halda í traustum stefnu um loftslagsbreytingar og sjálfbærni.
