Þessi þingsályktunartillaga beinir því til ríkisstjórnar að búa til laun fyrir frumkvöðla sem geta starfað við sín eigin verkefni og hugmyndir. Tillagan var lögð fram vegna þess að Ísland vill verða meðal fremstu landa heims þegar kemur að nýsköpun og sjálfbærri atvinnuuppbyggingu, og frumkvöðlar eru taldir mikilvægir fyrir þetta markmið. Með því að gefa frumkvöðlum laun og tíma til að vinna við sín eigin verkefni myndu fleiri nýjar og góðar lausnir á vandamálum samtímans raunast, til dæmis varðandi hringrásarhagkerfið. This parliamentary resolution asks the government to establish a salary system that allows entrepreneurs to work on their own projects and ideas. The proposal was put forward because Iceland wants to become one of the world's leading nations in innovation and sustainable development, and entrepreneurs are seen as key to achieving this goal. By providing entrepreneurs with salaries and time to work on their own initiatives, more new and valuable solutions to today's challenges would be created, such as those related to circular economy. This would also help smaller communities across the country develop better and would create more diverse and meaningful jobs for people nationwide.
