Andrés Inga Jónsson asks the Minister of Finance and Economics how much revenue the state has received from selling emission allowances for greenhouse gases and from carbon taxes, and what portion of those revenues has gone to climate action. He also wants to know what international requirements exist for directing part of these revenues to climate measures and whether Iceland follows them. These questions concern how Iceland uses money from environmental fees and whether it complies with international standards for dedicating that revenue to climate action.
