Skýrslan fjallar um starf Íslandsdeildar NATO-þingsins árið 2021 og aðaláhyggjur þingsins sem voru þrengingar Rússa, öryggismál á norðurslóðum og styrkingu lýðræðislegra gilda innan NATO. Hún var lögð fram til að upplýsa Alþingi um mikilvægustu viðfangsefni og ályktanir NATO-þingsins á árinu, þar sem Ísland tók virkan þátt í umræðum um stefnumótun bandalagsins til ársins 2030.
The report covers the work of the Icelandic delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in 2021 and the assembly's main concerns, which were Russian threats, security issues in the Arctic, and strengthening democratic values within NATO. It was submitted to inform Parliament about the most important topics and resolutions of the NATO assembly that year, in which Iceland played an active role in discussions about the alliance's strategic direction through 2030.
