Í fyrirspurnarstíma var rætt um frumvarp til að breyta lögum um kirkjugarða og Kirkjugarðasjóð. Aðal breytingin er sú að kirkjugarðaráð myndu taka við ábyrgð á reikningshaldi sjóðsins í stað skrifstofu biskups. Einnig var lagt til að eyða úr lögum gömlum ákvæðum um Bálfararfélag Íslands sem hefur ekki starfað í um 60 ár.
During question time, a bill to amend the laws on cemeteries and the Cemetery Fund was discussed. The main change is that the cemetery board would take over responsibility for the fund's accounting from the bishop's office. It was also proposed to remove outdated provisions in the law concerning the Balfara Association of Iceland, which has not been active for about 60 years.
