Í fyrirspurnarstíma var rætt um skýrslu Ríkisendurskoðunar um sýslumanninn á höfuðborgarsvæðinu og þá óviðunandi biðtíma sem hefur verið í málsmeðferð. Jákvætt var að fram kom að stór árangur náðist árið 2021 við að stytta biðtíma, til dæmis fór bið eftir þinglýsingu úr fjórtán dögum niður í nokkra daga. Nefndin fagnaði þessum umbótum og hvatti embættið til að halda áfram með markvissum hætti.
