Hilda Jóna Gísladóttur spyr háskóla-, iðnaðar- og nýsköpunarráðherra hvernig dreifð er búseta þeirra sem skipuð hafa verið í stjórnir, starfshópa og nefndir sem ráðuneytið og stofnanir þess standa fyrir. Hún vill vita hvort þessir skipuðu menn eru jafnt dreifðir um Ísland eða hvort þeir eru fyrst og fremst frá Reykjavík og höfuðborgarsvæðinu. Svarið myndi sýna hvort útfyrirstaðan og smærri sveitarfélög fá sanngjarna hlutdeild í þessum stjórnunarverkefnum eða hvort miðstýring hefur áhrif á skipunina.
Hilda Jóna Gísladóttur asks the Minister of Higher Education, Industry and Innovation how the residences are distributed among those appointed to boards, working groups and committees operated by the ministry and its institutions. She wants to know whether these appointed individuals are evenly spread across Iceland or whether they are primarily from Reykjavik and the capital region. The answer would reveal whether rural areas and smaller municipalities have fair representation in these management positions or whether centralization affects the appointments.
