Lilju Rannveig Sigurgeirsdóttur spyr dómsmálaráðherra um hvernig mannanafnanefnd Íslands fer með nafn sem vantar samþykki hennar. Hún vill vita hvort nöfn geti orðið hefðbundin án samþykkis nefndarinnar, og ef svo væri, hvort það væri mögulegt á Íslandi. Spurningarnar snúast einnig um það hvernig nefndin dæmir hvort nafn hafi orðið hefðbundið og hvernig hún fer með ný nöfn sem ekki hafa verið samþykkt en endar á endingu sem hefðbundin nöfn nota.
