Lilju Rafneyja Magnúsdóttur spyr dómsmálaráðherra hvort hann telji það gott hugmynd að styrkja verkefni Hollvinasamtaka um endurgerð og endurkoma gömlu björgunarskipsins Maríu Júlíu BA-36. Verkefnið hefur staðið yfir um tuttugu ár og fengið um 20 milljónir króna í opinbera styrki, og markmið samtakanna er að endurbyggja skipið og gefa því nýtt hlutverk, til dæmis sem rannsóknaskip eða skólaskip. Þetta skiptir máli vegna þess að María Júlía var fyrsta sérsmíðaða björgunarskip Íslands og tálsmaðurinn telur mikilvægt að varðveita þessa menningararfleifð.
